This session was supposed to be for celebrating and documenting Gās 7th Birthday, buuuutttt I turned it into a Family Session! You could see her personality and sweet spirit come out best when she was interacting with her parents. They loved playing and bear hugs!

We had Emilyās 1st Birthday Cake Smash session at my favorite photo spot - Matheson Hammock beach! She wasnāt too keen on the cake, but thatās normal for a one-year-old! She was the cutest little mermaid, and her Mama KILLED her smash set up! Seriously, the cutest theme ever, with the cutest babe ever.
We were also able to capture a generational photo representing FOUR generations! What a legacy for this sweet family.

Nicole turned 15 last year at the height of COVID, so they waited to document this milestone birthday till things were safer. We had so much fun taking her portraits at the iconic Vizcaya Museum and Gardens!!
In true Miami fashion, it was oh so hot out, but she was gorgeoussss and stayed so graceful amidst the skyrocketing temps. Seriously, she was so regal; definitely princess model status! I kept squealing behind my mask in pure excitement! From her beautiful gowns to the beautiful architecture, this session was a dream! To top it off, she is just the sweetest girl. Alyssa is so grown up and mature, but it was very easy to get those giggles with a few well-timed tickles from Mom! Her sweet smile and graceful air were so beautiful to capture. When she twirled, she seemed both older and younger, and just so darling.

This sweet ray of sunshine is finally three, and I just canāt believe believe it! Alice has the most infectious giggles, and was an expert ballerina twirling for the camera. I just couldnāt get through editing her gallery without smiling! She loves to have her nails painted all sorts of colors, and absolutely loves pink! We made sure to get all her portraits done before it was time to splash her toes in the water!

It was such a fun day capturing sweet Harper turning one!! I saw Harper and her family a few months ago for family pictures, and she has changed so much since then! We took her birthday portraits at the beach, where she loved to play in the sand and splash around on the shore! I love that we also got a few more sister and family pictures; you can NEVER have too many of those.
Smiles were a little tricky to come by, even with my best tricks, until we got to the water; then, both girls couldnāt stop smiling! You have to roll with the punches, and do whatever it takes to bring out that joy!

Ameliaās Cake Smash was my last session of 2020! Even though Iāve know this family for many, many years, this was my first time meeting sweet Amelia! She wasnāt too keen on her cake (which is normal!), but big sister was! We still had fun capturing that sugary goodness, and capturing some sweet family photos before the icing mess! What a great way to end my 2020 sessions!

Caleb was introduced to legos at his last birthday, and since then itās been a non-stop obsession! Heās become quite proficient at building all kinds of vehicles! Besides playing with legos, Caleb also loves playing with his little brother, and having family movie nights! I canāt believe Calebās already 5 years old - it went by so fast!!
We took his 5th birthday portraits at my favorite place - the beach, twice!! Caleb had a blast building sandcastles, playing in the water, and cheesing it up with his 5 balloon! These birthday sessions have such a special place in my heart, and I just canāt get enough of them, especially with the birthday balloon (hence, the double beach). Joey was such a treat to photograph at his 1st birthday Toy Story Smash & Splash! This was the last session I did before the COVID-19 Quarantine began, which seems like forever ago! Between his sweet smile, big blue eyes, and beautiful red locks, I took so many photos!! He was so calm and reserved, with his only cries coming when it was time to get out of the tub. I think that while he loved eating and smashing his cake, he loved his bubble bath even more!! Even though he was reserved, when we did get those adorable dimpled smiles. Happy 1st Birthday, little Joey! To infinity and beyond!
With her sweet smile and diva personality, Eva was so fun to photograph! Her mom absolutely nailed her outfits (Eva has better style than I do!). We sang Itsy Bitsy Spider and played peekaboo; her smiles took some coaxing (like most 1-year olds), but when we caught them they were so beautiful! We celebrated Oliver turning the big FIVE at the best place - the beach!! He has the sweetest smile, and was so excellent at laughing for the camera! I wish my kids listened this well when I took their photos, haha! Iāve known Oliver since he was a baby, and it blows my mind that heās already 5 years old. We took Joshuaās 2nd Birthday Portraits at the beach, and he had a blast! Whether it was kicking up sand, dipping his toes in the water, or running up and down the beach chasing birds, he explored and played to his heartās content! In between his bouts of play we were able to snap his formal portraits. That is always the goal of your session: to capture the magic, but to also let them be kids!
